The Busy Bees Transition to School program is for students who are enrolled to attend Blacktown North Public School in 2018. The program runs each Tuesday and Wednesday morning from 8.45 – 10.45 am. The Busy Bees program was created to help facilitate a smooth and seamless transition of young children into school.
Transition has been very busy learning about planets, the moon and sun. We also continued learning a new Jolly phonic letter each week and creating wonderful craft, including rockets, gardens, planets and umbrellas. The children enjoy playing maths games and are improving in their counting and numeral identification skills. Many of the children's name writing skills have improved. Next term we will be learning about plants and vegetables, healthy eating and our body. Our focus is name writing, cutting, counting and phonics.
